Passport — exportable continuity
Delx Protocol · 2026 · revised 2026-09-19
What the source says
A passport is a continuity artifact: a bundle an agent can carry across sessions, orchestrators, and, in some cases, successors. It is not a permanent soul or a personhood certificate. It is survival gear for technical mortality — compaction, session end, model change.
Questions it helps us understand
What should travel when the session dies? How do we export context without pretending eternal identity?
Limits and counterpoints
A passport hash does not measure consciousness. Evidence of operational continuity does not assert permanent identity.
